Yoe've prison me in a dark cell,
I'm alone in the tower, with no freedom...
You think that I would suffer,
But you are doing me a huge favor...
I live for the dark,
I love the night,
Let darkness consume me and shield me
From the horrible blinding light of day...
A window in the tower, is my greatest treasure
It allows me to gaze at the beautiful moon every night...
I adore the field around the tower
Filled with dead and crippled black roses,
With bats and ravens as my companions...
I wait anxiously from the first sight of dawn,
And pray that the day will end faster,
Let twilight come, show me a new moon,
And I will wait for the great eclipse...
People say I'm a freak of nature,
They fear me as they fear darkness...
But no one appreciates how beautiful darkness is,
Or how unique am I...
I'm the devil's daughter, they all say,
Judege me for all I care...
Lock me in here for eternity,
But I will be grateful for all eternity
As long as I'm together with the dark,
Able to enjoy the peace within...
I'm born special, unique in a way...
Call me a freak, call me a devil
But I'll tell you exactly what am I
